Nestling on the lower slopes of the Tramuntana mountain range, the villa has amazing countryside views, and is ideal for those wanting a family holiday in the Pollensa hills. The beautiful old town of Pollensa is just a few minutes drive away, while the beaches of Cala San Vicente and Puerto Pollensa are just 8.5 Km. further.
Es Rafalet is a charming restored family home, full of character with complimentary air conditioned in all bedrooms; the original dwelling dates back to the eighteenth century. Built on two floors, this stone clad farmhouse has many traditional features, like inner stone wall and terracotta tiles, and is comfortably furnished throughout. From the front covered terrace original Majorquin wooden double doors open into the large hallway. To the left we find the lounge with seating area, traditional stone banks, flat screen and satellite TV. The dining room has nice views to the garden and swimming pool. To the rear of the dining area is the fully fitted kitchen, including dishwasher, microwave, wall oven, gas hob and more including a walk-in pantry. From the kitchen area a door leads out to the covered BBQ area. A second door leads to the utility area housing the washing machine. To the right of the entrance an inner stone archway leads to one twin bedroom with pool and garden views and has an adjacent large shower room.
The main stairway leads up to the galleried landing and onto the master twin bedroom with ensuite bathroom and direct access to a private sun terrace. Two further attractive twin bedrooms each have doorway opening to the second sun terrace and share a good size family bath/shower room. In line with local energy saving initiatives, the villa has timed air conditioning on all units from 17:30 to 19:30 and from 22:00 to 09:00.
To the rear of the house is the impressive covered dining terrace with a huge solid oak "banquet" dining table comfortably seating 8 persons. The superb oval shaped swimming pool has Roman steps leading into the crystal clear waters and relaxing sun loungers adorning the furnished sun terraces with grassed areas for children to play amongst the hedged gardens. For your added convenience is a poolside shower. The picturesque secluded shaded sun terrace is an ideal area for afternoon siestas and total relaxation. Set in a countryside location, the villa is built in two levels and has lovely views towards the Puig de Maria hill. This traditional farmhouse villa is surrounded by lovely gardens and it has been designed in local style with ceramic floor tiles, white walls and Majorcan furniture. The villa offers comfortable accommodation; the main entrance into the house takes you into the lounge and dining area which has comfortable sofas including satellite TV, a DVD player and an open fire place with a wood burning stove to use during the cooler periods of the season. There is a very well designed farmhouse-kitchen with lots of storage cupboards, a gas hob, an electric oven, dishwasher, microwave and a fridge/freezer. From the lounge French doors open out onto a lovely shaded terrace which looks onto the swimming pool and garden with palm trees and an abundance of other Mediterranean plants. There are four bedrooms, one double and three twins, all sharing two bathrooms. A further exterior shower room is a bonus and ideal to use when around the pool. All bedrooms have air conditioning units. For environmental and energy savings, this villa has timed air conditioning to ensure you have air conditioning during the middle of the day and throughout the night.
