Villa La Creveta is set in an excellent location in the countryside area of La Font, below the backdrop of the Serra Tramuntana mountains. Enjoying a countryside ambience, the property is only a short drive from the beaches at Cala San Vicente or Puerto Pollensa. Also, the old town of Pollensa is also a few minutes’ drive. The original old part of the Majorcan villa has been beautifully restored and renovated.
A brand-new extension has been added to offer a stunning combination of old charm and new modern opulence, which lends it an altogether unique feel. Throughout the house there are many quaint touches that demonstrate its origins.
From the front terrace the glass doors lead into the spacious open plan dining room which has unusual vaulted ceilings. To the right of the dining area is the spacious lounge with comfortable sofas, complimentary Internet connection, smart TV . Floor to ceiling glass sliding doors open onto the covered side terrace where the BBQ and exterior dining table is situated. To the rear of the lounge, double doors lead onto the front terrace. To the left of the front door and to the rear of the dining area there is a WC in the linking hallway that leads into the compact kitchen.
The kitchen itself is light and airy and has granite marble effect worktops and stylish cupboards giving a modern look. A feature window looks over the entire length of the house across to the pool area. The kitchen is fully equipped. Off this area there is a pantry and a utility room where the washing machine is located.
A staircase from the dining area leads up to the sleeping accommodation, which has parquet flooring throughout. To the left of the stairs is the Master double bedroom with en-suite bathroom and walk in dressing room. To the right of the stairs, a corridor leads down to a pretty single bedroom and a separate shower room. This is shared by a second double bedroom which has very spacious built in wardrobe and boasts its own private terrace, with stunning views over the mountains and surrounding countryside. All bedrooms have air conditioning (in line with local energy saving initiatives, the villa has timed air conditioning on all units from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 07:00 AM – these times cannot be extended and/or changed).
The pool is made with natural stone tiles the same as those on the terrace floor, characterizing it with details of different shades thanks to the iron embedded in the stone, which gives a modern touch to the exterior of the villa. The pool is situated to the right of the villa, adorned with comfortable sun loungers on the spacious surrounding sun terraces. For your added convenience is a newly built poolside shower room with washing facilities and WC.
The small lawned area is ideal for children to play on and to one side is a table tennis for sports enthusiasts. Within the grounds and to the front of the house there is a fenced pond and a further lawned area with citrus trees. The covered BBQ terrace is adjacent to the crystal-clear pool affording an ideal sun shaded area to relax, dine al fresco or just enjoy the essence of the Mediterranean lifestyle. Villa Magdalena is a beautiful, countryside villa just outside the old town of Pollensa. Designed to resemble a cottage, you will feel right at home. It is nestled within lush, green countryside, with gently sloping hills in the background, giving it that hideaway vibe.
The swimming pool has major appeal here, somewhere to cool off from the midday rays. There is an outdoor dining area too, the perfect spot to enjoy the warm evenings of the Majorcan summer.
Inside, the villa looks like a traditional Majorcan home, with wooden furniture and Spanish plates on the wall. The décor is white, the floor tiles are terracotta, the linens are natural. With three bedrooms, the villa is for six people.
Upon entering the villa there is a lounge dining area, a corridor gives us access to the separate fitted kitchen and to the sleeping area, the bedrooms comprise of three twins, one of them has an en suite bathroom with shower, the rest share another bathroom with a bath.
Tucked away in the Northern tip of Mallorca, a really good point of this villa is that it is just 950 mts. away from Pollensa’s main square. The Old Town of Pollensa has Roman historical buildings (including an Old Medieval monastery and an ancient Roman bridge), and a big choice of shops and restaurants. In addition, Puerto Pollensa and Cala San Vicente, with their lovely beaches, are also a short drive away. If you’re a lover of the sea, you’ll adore the warm, calm waters which are perfect for water sports.
